He ought to have to pay the farmer that got his crop ruined when the balloon landed in his field and all the rescue vehicles tore his crop up.

He did sign a deal for an internet reality tv show.... which is cancelled. And he will be facing charges, it was on the news all over everywhere tonight.
Now they are trying to take the kids away from them.

I seen the footage of him on the dirt bike trying to ride into a tornado with his wife and kids right behind him in the truck. What kind of parents do this???
Me and my kids would be in the basement waiting it out like normal people!!!

Actually... they are trying to find a way to charge him with Felonies. Either way, the sheriff said no matter what it was, if found guilty, it wasn't likely he'd face jail time. Which makes no sense... I kind of thought that was the difference between felonies and misdemeanors... facing jail time.

On yahoo.com the mom asdmitted it was a hoax. She said they knew the boy was in the house and not in any danger. She said they did it to make them more marketable. They coached the boys to lie to authorities.

And this is why they should do jail time. It cost taxpayers alot of money and time to "find out there was no boy inside".
From all the shows they are showing now they should loose the kids. The father seems to be off his rocker. To use your kids to be famous? Oh wait its working for jon and kate, octomom.........so.........

I'm not so sure they should loose the kids. Just because they did something stupid doesn't mean they don't love them. I do think they should have to pay Colorado back for all the money they spent on this crap, though... especially since they are voting on lowering the minimum wage there cause the state is so broke. They, like everyone else, did not have the money to be wasting.

They had on Nancy Grace tonight where the dad is putting a cigar in the hand and a beer bottle in the hand of the oldest son when he's I'd say about six or seven months old. The baby puts his mouth on the beer bottle but I don't think drinks any. Someones taping it and it shows TMZ on the clip. What a jerk. I hear a woman say no but he keeps doing it.

It looks like he's just getting probation. I didn't even hear anything about restitution. And to top it off on tmz.com his lawyer asked the judge if he could leave the state for so-called job opportunities which are really interviews with shows and the judge said yes.
They didn't tell the judge it was for interviews. So I guess he got what he wanted out of it fame and money. Must be nice to get away with stuff like that. If we did it they'd arrest our butts.

This whole thing is going to reach a new level of disgusting if they are not made to pay money for all that was spent on the rescue.
