I don't believe this show, firstly in Vegas, I wouldn't go see an Opera Singer or a "chicken singer" singing cover songs....I think the worthy one was that Percussion group, now that I would probably plunk down some cash to see..At first I thought it was a joke whne the Barry White guy didn't get in and before him the contortionist..I don't get it...who voted?

A chicken catcher is actually a fairly decent paying job. You go into the huge chicken houses and catch chickens to put in cages for transport to the chicken factories.
He hasnt done it in awhile, but what does how he made his living have to do with how well he can sing?
And, as for who voted for him, probably every single person in the town where he lives and his family and most of this part of KY, to be honest.

Okay, i wasn't talking about what he did for a living. That is just what we called him. I wouldnt have cared if he was a garbage man actually.

Not really, he mimics ok but is often out of tune. I would have rather seen recycled percussion or even grandma lee win.

Yeah... I got to agree... I thought he deserved the shot to be there in the beginning but his following performances were very poor. I'm really very disappointed.

yes, you are right. but... as sharon and the others said, many people in the industry dont have perfect voices, its his heart and soul that go into his singing that make him special.
i was also hoping for grandma lee or recycled percussion to win
ETA: just because they didnt win doesnt mean we wont hear from them again. MOST of the final 10 were so talented i'm sure they will get contracts and offers
