I'm one of those people that voted for him. He has a natural talent and we "Kentuckians" are very proud of him.

I did NOT want him to win. For one he cant sing! Yes, he has that 'uniqueness' about him, but I cant say that its talent. Is a man with a passion for singing and he puts his feelings into his songs, but its not talent. I think alot of people felt sorry for him, he pulled at alot of heart strings, or just wanted him to win because of his background. I loved the opera singer, she was talented. Recycled percussion was very talented. Kevin Skinner, not so much.

His audition was very good and his FIRST performance. But after that it went way downhill. I really want R.P to win OR the young singer who was the second chance. He got BETTER EVERY time he performed and thats a true artist IMO.
those are people I would Pay to see for an hour and thats what I base my voting on (i didn't vote this year because who I vote for never wins).
The Opera singer was good, but she is in a limited audience group of interest IMO. I don't think Opera would be a huge following in Vegas...
these are just my op........

I think either the percussion team or Drew Stevens should have one...
country boy seemed nice.. but even though he had a nice voice.. he didn't have a wow voice... or stage presence.. and no way should he have taken the win

So I don't watch this show or really know much about the contestants but they mentioned it on the news and had a clip of him singing.. I thought he was out of tune? I wouldn't pay nor would I be paid to go to his concert. The clip of the lady sounded much better. JMHO

At least they could sing on key and looked more presentable than the chicken catcher.
