New season of Biggest Loser starts Sept 15th
Looks good again!
America’s favorite weight loss competition has been renewed for yet another season. NBC has announced The Biggest Loser season 8 will premiere on Tuesday, September 15 at 8PM ET/PT. Following suit from the previous three seasons, The Biggest Loser will be shown in two-hour episodes throughout it’s run. However, this time they will be doing away with couples…
“We’re going back to singles and contemplating doing something really unique,” executive producer J.D. Roth told The Hollywood Reporter earlier this year. ”We’re going to study fattest cities in America, we’re going to try to cast in those cities and add things into those cities to help them change their ways and to get off that list.”
As we reported, The Biggest Loser is also currently casting for season 9, in which it will go back to it’s family format. The ninth season will premiere early next year and will feature varying family relationships.

They had a picture of the new cast in TVGuide and Dan from last year is getting to be on this season. I can't wait. I love this show. It motivates me to exercise which I desperately need to do.

Yeah! I'm so glad they're going back to singles. I really haven't enjoyed the couples as much. I also saw a commercial where Dan is back. That is so great! I do feel that he was cheated last season b/c of his partner and hope he can reach his goal this time around having all the "tools" at his disposal.

I'm glad Dan will get another chance. His friend definitely didn't do him any favors on the last show. I hope he loses the weight. I wish they would put the brother of the father and son team last season that got so upset because he wanted to lose weight too.

I felt so sorry for the contestant that lost her husband and two kids in the car crash. She had everybody crying. Even Jillian.

This is going to be a great show I can tell already. Lots of heartbreaking stories and lots of big people.
