Bachelorette’s Ed Swiderski Still Texting Ex-Girlfriend

RadarOnline is reporting some interesting and shocking news. According to them, Jillian Harris’s new fiance Ed Swiderski continues to text his ex girlfriend, Bethany Steffen These texts are described as being more than platonic.

Multiple sources tell RadarOnline that Ed was texting and emailing Bethany even during the filming of The Bachelorette.

“He broke off his relationship with Bethany just a week before he began shooting The Bachelorette but soon resumed contact with her via texts and emails,” a source told Radar. Another source described the texts as being “sexy.”

The report says Ed continued his sexy text messages towards his ex even after he finished filming. His ex is described as being stunned at news that Ed was the winner. “Ed’s sexy messages to Bethany certainly aren’t of the kind a happily engaged man should be sending.”

Radar also reports Ed and Bethany had dated for four months. Ed broke off communication with Bethany before the show, effectively dumping her (but just forgetting to tell her!).

I like these two as a couple and was hoping the Ed girlfriend rumors were false, but the evidence keeps piling up against Ed. Jillian is planning on moving to Chicago to live with Ed on September 1.

On June 4 - eight days after he popped the question to Jillian Harris on The Bachelorette finale - Ed Swiderski slept with former girlfriend Lindsey Johnson, according to the new issue of Us Weekly (on newsstands now).

A day later, he tried to bed a different woman, Bethany Steffen, texting her to "bring beer and condoms" over to his place, Steffen tells Us.

The humiliated women are speaking out now to warn Harris, 29, about her new fiancee's two-timing ways.

Says Steffen, "Ed's not worth my time, but if I can help someone avoid heartbreak, I'm gonna do that."



According to Us Weekly, Swiderski had been dating both Steffen and Johnson behind each other's backs prior to filming The Bachelorette in late March (the finale, taped in May, aired July 27).

Even while he was on the hit ABC show he texted Johnson that Harris wasn't his "type" and that he prefers "all blondes," she says. "I love you," he also wrote her.



Us Weekly reports that he lied to Harris when he said he had to bow out of episode five because he thought he'd lose his job as a Chicago Microsoft consultant.



While away, both women say they slept with Swiderski.

He then told them he was off to "a business trip in Texas," when in reality he returned to film episode seven of The Bachelorette and declare to Harris that he had "reprioritized" when it came to work and romance.

Of the women's claims, Harris tells Extra, "It's not possible... This is a bump in the road and we'll get through it."



But Steffen warns Harris, "Lindsey and I are both smart girls, and Ed just has this way of making people believe what he wants. Jillian needs to be careful."

Adds Johnson, "I feel gross, used and completely violated. It shocks me that he was able to do something like that to me."

MyFoxPhilly is reporting that Bachelorette star Jillian Harris has dumped fiance Ed Swiderski in Las Vegas. A source very close to the situation has confirmed the split and that Swiderski’s relationships with two other women led to the break up. Harris was to have had dinner at the restaurant Lavo at the Palazzo Resort in Las Vegas with Swiderski, but instead dropped the bombshell on him. Us Weekly said earlier this week it had documented proof Swiderski was cheating with two women, a claim he denied on national TV. US Weekly says Ed Swiderski slept with former girlfriend Lindsey Johnson, and hit on another ex-girlfriend, Bethany Steffen, after he proposed to Jillian Harris. On Good Morning America on Wednesday, Swiderski denied all claims made by the two women and Us Weekly. Harris also appeared on TV, said the claims were false and she would never again discuss the matter publicly. I am completely confused by this report since Harris spoke to The Province newspaper on Thursday and stated, “I am not affected by this at all,” she says. “We really plan on trying to get out of the limelight and trying to get on with our lives. It’s been a hard couple of days but ... it only made us stronger and it’s only made us communicate with each other more. “We’re doing fine,” continues Harris. “It’s hard because I’m just a regular Canadian girl.”
