They are making 3 million a year with the show...plus income from books, DVD's, etc. You do not have to show that you have a job to purchase a home. You just need to show 'income'.

Was it just me or was the show tonight really boring. And I had to laugh when Kate asked the daughter that went on vaction with her "Was her love cup full or something like that and the girl said it was over flowing. Who talks like that? Me and my husband cracked up over that.

that had to have been paid for by somebody, a trip to a spa is VERY expensive.

Did anybody watch the show on E! last night Jon & Kate twisted fate? I never really believed that Jon cheated until I saw that show and they pointed out that Jon wasnt wearing his wedding ring in the pics. Why would you take off your wedding ring unless you were wanting something? But that doesnt make sense because that girl had to know who he was she had to know he was married. It just all seems VERY weird to me like its all one big publicity stunt or something for more money....
They also mentioned that they have a deal with their grocery store to get food at a big discount. They also get free clothes. Kates tummy tuck was free. So was her teeth whitening. They even said Jon and Kate both admitted theyre in it for the money, which we already knew.

They definitely need a discount on groceries. I saw the show where she went shopping. Man she bought a lot.

what about the Duggars and all those groceries they buy? Even if they do get paid, I can't imagine the upkeep on all those kids.

Supposedly they own multiple properties that bring in money and they buy food from discount stores plus buy it in bulk. Samething with the clothes and shoes they buy those at places like Goodwill and plus people give them a ton. They make a lot of stuff to like their own laundry detergent and stuff. But they have to be getting paid also for their show and you know its gotta be alot

Of course they are in it for the money. You say that as if it's a bad thing. They have 8 children to support. Doing this show has provided them with numerous opportunities for their family that they might not otherwise have had.
However...if the money is more important than their family and their marriage...then that's when I would admonish them to rethink their priorities.
