Well it looks like they are gonna announce a divorce or something but they always play up these things to make people watch it may be something entirely different. I read in Tv Guide that this season was already shot(with the exception of a few things at the end) so it has to air but next season they werent for sure but that it would probably be on...They also talked about how ratings were extremely high for the season premier but then dropped a bunch so they needed something to get people back im thinking but who knows.

I think they are going to announce their divorce too,the way they are saying it will change all of their lives.They seemed more comfortable together the last couple of episodes so I thought maybe they were trying to work things out.What a shame.

Showbiz tonight said someone took a picture of Kate spanking one of her kids. I don't think a swat on the butt is a spanking.

Any idea if there is a link to that?I thought I saw someone saying that too.For some reason I find it hard to believe.I know everyone seems to love to hate her but I would really be shocked if she actually did this.

I was woindering about that to but I read they already shot all the episodes before all this stuff came out into the open so they are doing new stuff and editing that into the current shows thats why it seems that way.

Now that really turns me off! I expect reality tv to be reality tv.I used to think it was all real until we had an episode of "Made"done in our small town.It was done in my dd's high school and was totally scripted.That really opened my eyes. I did think Kate was above that though.I am so dissappointed!

I don't see anything wrong with a swat on the butt as long as you don't leave marks. And knowing her kids they scream about everything. I doubt she hit her very hard.

Unless you are talking about Maddie,I totally disagree.I think they are very well behaved.No need to smack these kids.At all.

Most parents (not all, but most) spank out of frustration. With all that is going on in her life and having 8 little one's I bet she is beyond stressed. The way some of her kids talk, mainly the older girls, in my opinion they need more than one swat on the bottom.

I dont think it will be a divorce announcement, because of the fact that everything has been filmed. They would have to then fit that in somehow for the rest of the season.

This is another ratings ploy and it is working.
