ER ending !!

This is not the first time they have claimed to be a final season... maybe if we keep our fingers crossed!

I used to watched ER and then a few ago yearsstopped. its the same ole same ole.
Once they fazed out all the old characters it stopped being the same for me.
But it was still good till the kept doing the same story lines over and over just with a diff. cast.
So we (at first) we just miss an episode, then a couple, then ev. stopped watching entirely. so i have to say i will miss the OLD ER. But not what it has become.

Dang it I really liked this show! But then again it figures, every show I like they cancel..

I do hope they go out with a bang at least.

Me either. I mean I still like the show but it was way different. Im happy hes coming back for this last season, not sure how many of the episodes but atleast hell be back on

I was going to say the same thing. It went right in the crapper after he left. I haven't watched it since.

and he is one that I never cared for lol well I did like him YEARS AGO on Facts of Life but after that I never much cared for him.......I know I know I am the only woman on the face of the earth that feels that way lol

Los Angeles (E! Online) - NBC is bringing out the big guns for its 15th and final season of ER. The big, nostalgia-laden, tear-inducing guns.

E! News has confirmed that original ER castmember Anthony Edwards, who played Dr. Mark Greene on the medical hit for eight years before heading to that big emergency room in the sky back in 2002, has signed on to reprise his role for a one-episode guest stint during—when else?—November sweeps.

Show purists can rest easy that producers are only interested in resuscitating ratings, not Edwards' character, and that Dr. Greene will be appearing in flashback form.

While the character passed away from a brain tumor during a memorably weepy episode nearly six years ago, Edwards will appear in a flashback scene this time around with new series regular Angela Bassett, County General's newest attending doctor.

Adding to the guest-star spectacular, Bassett's real-life hubby, Courtney B. Vance, will also play her reel-life hubby on the show.

The episode goes into production next week and airs Nov. 13.
