Kinda creepy considering the episode that played tonight.... if this was "LOST" we could expect his immient demise...

'CSI' co-star Gary Dourdan arrested for drugs

LOS ANGELES (AP) — "CSI" co-star Gary Dourdan was arrested Monday for possession of narcotics and dangerous drugs, police said. The 41-year-old actor was found asleep in his car by the Palm Springs Police Department, authorities said.

An officer saw Dourdan's car parked on the wrong side of the street with the interior light on and someone sleeping in the driver's seat at approximately 5:12 a.m. Monday, according to Palm Springs police Sgt. Mitch Spike.

The officer described Dourdan as disoriented and possibly under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The officer arrested Dourdan after locating suspected cocaine, heroin, Ecstacy, miscellaneous prescription drugs and paraphernalia. Dourdan was released on $5,000 bail at 10:30 a.m. Monday. A court date was not immediately scheduled.

Dourdan has played crime scene investigator Warrick Brown on CBS' "CSI" since 2000. Several celebrities were in town for the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in nearby Indio, Calif. It was not immediately clear whether Dourdan attended the event.

Representatives for Dourdan did not immediately return phone calls Tuesday.

he was let go from the show already to...read it last week in the tv guide...nothing to do with this..

If drug use was interfering with production ... I imagine they would have seen signs prior to this incident.

The reference to LOST was that three different actors recieved DUI's in Hawaii .... and shortly thereafter ... despite appearent disruption in the story line ... the characters played by those actors were killed off ( Libby, Ecco, and the cop who's name escapes me at the moment )

TV Guide broke the news last week...
He's leaving... a NCIS main character is leaving, and the Law and Order DA is leaving

I had to look it up... I'm so sad to see him leave... but they didn't let him go, he chose not to renew his contract from everything I've read... or maybe they are letting him say that ... who knows with these things.

Yea....they haven't announced who is leaving on NCIS - just that a main character is leaving.
I don't watch NCIS (mil does) - just thought I'd throw in my .02

I hope the main character leaving is Director Shepherd. I just can't imagine the show with out Gibbs, Ziva, Magee or Tony. We have been watching the reruns of the first 3 seasons (before I started watching) and I have to say, Agent Todd was ok, but not as good as Ziva.
