Anyone else think the new Michael looks a lot like Jason? I think they can pass for father and son.

You know, I've noticed that too... but they ARE related - he is his blood uncle so they certainly have some genes in common.

And I love that they have such a good connection, Jason is really the only person who truly understand what Michael is going through right now.

Johnny and Olivia's relationship makes waves -- especially for Sonny. Michael's new home will be ... the Quartermaine mansion?

Claudia's plans for assassination once again go awry, as Jason manages to survive -- with more than a little help from Johnny. But Morgan and Michael end up getting taken hostage. Oy, Claudia -- are you going to be responsible for another one of Sonny's kids getting hurt?

But that's just the beginning of Claudia's headaches; things get worse when one of the gunmen turns up alive. And on her doorstep. So now Claudia has to keep this wayward assassin, Dominic, hidden in Sonny's house until she can find a way to get rid of him.

And to add insult to injury, Johnny and Olivia get tighter in the wake of the attempted hit on Jason. Which, of course, does not please Claudia. But it's really starting to tick Sonny off as well. Johnny better watch out.

Elsewhere, Michael (when not being held hostage) continues to act out and cause problems for Carly. For starters, he wants to join the mob (not every mother's dream). Things get so bad that Carly actually considers sending him to live with the Quartermaines. So you KNOW she must be at her wit's end.

As for the investigation into the death of the mayor's mistress, Patrick and Robin have come up with a pretty solid case against the Mayor himself. Perhaps even solid enough to get him arrested. But look for a big reveal involving two Port Charlesians that will turn the whole case on its head. Oh, and Alexis is involved in a whopper of a bombshell too.

All this, PLUS: Kristina continues to make dangerous acquaintances, and Maxie puts the moves on Spinelli -- though it doesn't end quite the way she expects it to.

i think they are going to make michael another jason, thats why i think they got someone who looks like jason, if you pay attention, michael already acts alot like jason has in the past

Hailey Alexis Pullo will be playing Molly, starting in July.

Ronnie Marmo joins the cast of GH in the recurring role of "Ronnie", beginning July 9th.

Dominic Zamprogna plays a newcomer who becomes part of Claudia's latest plan. Naturally, Claudia's scheme goes awry. He makes a big impact not only on Alexis' daughter Kristina, but on Port Charles as a whole. Look for him to air beginning June 22nd.

Carly and Michael search for Morgan.

Despite Jason and Johnny's success in killing nearly all of the gunmen, Dominic
manages to snatch Morgan. Mikey tries to take Dominic down, but he is still weak
and Dominic easily overcomes him.

Luckily, Carly negotiates with him, and he leaves the boy behind.

Michael, peeved that Daddy won't let him join his "business", is certain it is because
of his brain injury. Overcome with guilt, Daddy buys him a sports car.

Carly decides Michael isn’t safe with Sonny and
decides it would be best if Michael goes to live with the Q's.

Michael begins to develop a genuine curiousity about the Quartermaines,
their history, and their money.

Edward attempts to lure Jason home as well, saying Michael's transition
would be easier with him around.

Apparently, Ric and Andrea have been scheming together.

After Mac charges the mayor with murder, the mayor makes a desperate move which
places Alexis in a poor light.

Sam informs Spin that Mrs. Floyd had hired her to to look into the connection
between the mayor and his mistress.

Despite finding evidence of money transfers between the mayor and his mistress,
which could indicate blackmail,
Spinelli still harbors suspicions that Matt was responsible for Brianna's death.

Nik tries to convince Rebecca he loves her for who she is.

Kristina comes face to face with a killer.

6/29 Patrick and Robin have reason to believe they've made a terrible error.
Rebecca and Nikolas are being watched...by Ethan.
Alexis' affair with the mayor goes public.

6/30 The revelation of Alexis' affair, and the legal troubles it leads to for Alexis,
delivers a stunning blow to Kristina. Learning her perfect mother is not
so perfect after all, leaves her feeling confused, betrayed and angry.
Claudia has someone else to worry about now--Jax.
Robin gives Maxie somethin to think about.

7/1 Robin confides her theory in Alexis: the mayor may have had nothing
to do with Brianna' death after all,

7/2 Andrea gets the drop on Robin's latest theory.

while he gives her attention, its not what she hoped for and she ends up resented it.
The fact that she cannot stand Claudia doesn't help matters, either.

Sam is supportive of Alexis.

NUMolly, played by Haley Alexis Pullos, begins appearing in early July.

Michael's troubles are far from over.

Sam knows the new guy in town, and so might someone else.

At the end of June, Michael makes a very surprising (and long awaited) move!

With Luke gone without a word, Tracy begins divorce proceedings.

Spin realizes Maxie has been lying to him when she picks
a fight with Olivia over Johnny.

Sonny and Carly come together in their efforts to reconnect with Mikey.

Morgan wants his family to get back together.

Dante, Sonny's son with Olivia, makes his Port Charles
debut this summer.

You know Dominic? The hit man Claudia hired to take out Jason who's now a huge pain in her butt? The guy that's going to ask Johnny about getting into the Corinthos organization (yes, it's coming)? Well, here's some imminent story info: Dominic is really one Dante Falconari. As in, Sonny's son.

The other big news in Port Charles this week is the fallout from Carly's decision to send Michael to live with the Quartermaines. Nobody's happy about it -- not even Carly -- but Sonny in particular is up in arms. With Jason and Jax on her side (bonus points to Jax, who blackmails Claudia into helping convince Sonny to let Michael go to Q-ville), it looks like Carly's idea is going to be a reality: Michael bunking with the Qs. Michael's angry about it too, but he soon realizes he can get away with quite a bit underneath that spacious Quartermaine roof. The Q-age is just beginning, folks.

Elsewhere, Ethan is acting increasingly paranoid about Rebecca seducing Nikolas. Look for his bad behavior to threaten Rebecca's cover. Which could be a big problem, considering Nikolas asks Rebecca to move in with him. This news does NOT make Liz happy, or Ethan for that matter. And about Ethan threatening Rebecca's cover? Well, let's just say he gets drunk, and Liz is there. Loose lips can sink ships ...

Meanwhile, Alexis has to deal with the fallout from the revelation that she and Mayor Floyd had an affair. While Alexis tries to cope with her indiscretion -- and explain it to her daughters -- Spinelli starts to wonder if maybe the mayor DIDN'T kill Brianna. By the end of the week, he may have convinced some other people too, just as a new suspect emerges.

All this, PLUS: Jason manages to shock (and hurt) Sonny with news of the past; Spinelli decides to formally court Maxie; and Coleman wants to do a karaoke night at Jake's.

Make sure to catch an encore episode of General Hospital on July 3, featuring the consequences of Michael waking up from his coma.

So excited we finally get Dante in PC. I'm most curious about:

(a) who he is going to be paired with romantically (I say Lulu!) and
(b) how he interacts with his siblings, notably Michael and
(c) going head-to-head with his father Sonny!

I mean, this could get really good...

I've been liking Jason more lately. Glad they are finally letting him grow and mature as a character. Now if I could just get Liason, I'd start watching it on TV again, lol!

Stuart Damon (Alan Quartermaine) is joining the cast of ATWT in a new role...and get this...he will play a Mafioso! He will be joining ex-GH cast members Jon Lindstrom and Lynn Herring who currently play Craig and Audry on the soap. Look for him to make his debut in September. Yet again, GH's loss (the fools!) is another soap's gain. Congratulations Stuart, WTG!!! Methinks I will be watching ATWT for the very first time!

In other cast news, Christian Alexander, who plays Kristina's boyfriend Kiefer, will be sticking around awhile. He has been promoted from dayplayer to recurring status.

By all accounts we have already seen the last of Megan Ward (Kate). Apparently she lets her cousin know, via a phone call, that she has no intentions of returning from France. Finally, it looks like Lisa LoCicero (Olivia) will be around for the long haul. She just signed a long term contract.
