Soaps In Depth has learned that GENERAL HOSPITAL's Rick Hearst (Ric) is exiting the soap! Buzz is that Hearst - who was recently dropped to recurring status - will be returning to THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL, where he previously played Whip in 2002. It's unknown if Hearst will be reprising his former role, and when contacted for a comment regarding the actor's return to B&B, a spokesperson declined to issue a confirmation or denial, saying only, "It's our policy not to comment on rumors." ABC, however, is confirming that Hearst will be leaving GH. "We're saddened for GH fans but personally thrilled for Rick. We wish him nothing but success. Rest assured that the character of Ric Lansing will have an exit you won't want to miss," says a GH spokesperson.

So, some pretty hot scenes today with Rebecca and Nic. I go back and forth with these two, but today sealed the deal for me: they are fantastic together, have great chemistry, and are really starting to care for one another.

Jeff has seen a few scenes that were taped with the new Michael. He said they were ad libbing lines like, 'Wow, you voice has changed', 'you sure look different, older', 'you've grown so much you look like a whole different person' lol!

Michael wakes up! Emma Samms returns as Holly Sutton.


It's not looking good for Michael Corinthos this week, as he crashes in surgery. Patrick is able to pull him out, but the prognosis for him ever waking up is pretty grim. Sonny and Carly are just about ready to accept that he's never going to wake up when Michael finally opens his eyes. Yes, Michael finally comes back, and to a most unlikely visitor at his bedside too.

Meanwhile, even though the DNA test said Ethan isn't Luke's son, Luke thinks Tracy tampered with the results. While he tests his suspicions, Luke heads to Singapore with Ethan. Father/son bonding trip? Not quite. They're looking for Holly, who, as usual, had gotten herself into a mess of trouble. Hopefully Port Charles is ready for her imminent return, because next week Emma Samms is back to cause a bunch of headaches for the kind citizens of PC.

Ric is still tormenting Claudia, telling her he thinks he's the father of her baby. He keeps pestering her for a paternity test, which she wants no part of. Jason ends up overhearing, which only further confirms his bad feelings about Sonny's scheming wife.

Nikolas and Rebecca continue to get closer despite Alexis and her persistent questions about Rebecca's time spent in Greece. Nikolas clearly doesn't care, but he might when his aunt gets in the way of he and Rebecca having sex for the first time.

All this plus, Rebecca has a sweet bonding moment with Edward Quartermaine, and Spinelli and Maxie investigate the leak at Crimson. The identity of the culprit is a heck of a surprise.

Ok, who else is psyched that Michael is finally going to wake up?

I'm really looking forward to opportunities for storylines with a younger generation of Port Charles residents. And I'm also super curious to see how much Michael is like his (adopted) father Sonny... do you think he'll have any interest in one day taking over the family business??

I am glad Michael is up but that rapid aging is alway odd. He lookes like he is Lulu's age now. I appreciate them sort of addressing when when Carly and Jax talked about how they hadn't seen some one in one yr and how much they had changed.... Lulu was a fun person to have him wake up to. Some one random that usually isn't hanging around talking to him.

Alcazar had a new job. He was on the last few episodes of Prison Break as a bad guy.
