We find out more about Kate in a flash back. In the outback she cross path with the woman that Sawyer cheated out of the money.
The others gas Kate and The blond other (sorry her name slipped me) and Kate wakes up in the jungle hand cuffed to her. They go through the jungle tog. and encounter the monster and smoke monster. the Other seem to know nothing about it except she has the code to cut off the electric fence and the smoke monster can't go through it. She tells Kate that Jack saw her w/ Sawyer and that is why he wanted kate to leave and never come back.
Meanwhile back on the beach Hurley tells Sawyer they want to banish him if he doesn't start being nice to ever one else. He does stuff to try to "make ammends" only to find out Hurley made it up so that Sawyer can become more of the leader that every one looks at him as while any other possibilites are gone (IE Jack, Lock and Saied)
The Other leads kate to Jack and Saied they tell them the others left and they all walk back to the beach camp tog. Jack insisting the other come w/ them.

Glad I could help w/o confusing you.

I don't have any theories really. Every time I think of an idea they do something else.
Maybe it's sort of like the movie "the village" they all started there as some science experiments then decide it was a perfect world and stay there.

I have heard the pergatory store but if its true why didn't the others on the plane make it?

Also that is one of the few that writters and cast have all denied. But... you never know with those writters...

I think if my memory serves me correctly, that you only go to pergatory if you have sins still or still have to resolve them. Maybe the other went straight to heaven. I didnt know the writers already denied this. I just started watching this year. Did you watch last night. I knew Juliette was up to no good.

I was glad that Saied (Sp wrong) started asking all those questions that Kate never seemed to think to ask. But I did questions her motives all along. Guess I was right she is up to no good.
