Freeride raises point redeemption values

Freeride has raised their point redeemption for gift certificates. Not only do they offer less points now but it will take longer to getting enough points to redeem for anything.

And I will keep saying it---Survey companies are going downhill in a hurry cash out while you can NOW.

The only option I notice with a higher point value is the $10 Amazon, which in the past had a lower point value than it should have, as compared to the other options. All the others I looked at, seem to be the same mumber of points that they have been for a while.

I did notice this new message on the account page:

"We have discontinued the Virtual Visa as a redemption option. If you have an existing Freeride Virtual Visa you can still us it. We are just not offering new ones.

We are happy to let you know that we have replace that with a new Visa Gift Card option.

This is a physical card that will be mailed to you. You can use this anywhere Visa is accepted.

Best,

The Freeride Team."

I cashed out on 10/15 for a $15 WalMart GC for 18,500 points. All the $15 GC's are now 18,900 points.

It took me 5 months to earn the 18,500 points. Not a fast earning program!

I guess it was the $10 and $15 point values that were raised.

I am a bit happier now with Freeride than before - they are sending out tons of those 30 point emails and the 25 point OTX surveys which non qualifiers work even in between the 48 hours- and they are giving lots giving of those 800 pointers away recently too.

when I look at my cashouts last year and this year for $50, $25 and $15 they seem same point value now as before.

I do seem to be able to cashout faster HOWEVER I have noticed they have slowed on sending some of those emails as well. So while its good now I haven't gotten very many in the past couple of weeks......
Esp. the 800 ones.
