I do it. I know a lot of people think it's a pain and send the unit back, but I don't have a problem with it. It doesn't take me long to scan everything and transmit once a week.

I agree,it seems like a lot of people find it too time consuming.I don't have many options at the moment for getting money or things I need. This works for me because I have objects that I wouldn't otherwise have.It is worth it to me.
wubbywa, exactly what are you having a problem with?If I can be of help,I would be happy to share.

My DH does it and has no problems with it. My kids hate the sound of him scanning. LOL They roll their eyes and say daddy is at it again.

I don't have any problems scanning the items. What I am disappoint with is the rewards. I have looked through and it takes years to get some of the prizes and if you look online for those prizes, they are not all that expensive... certainly not worth years of scanning. Make sure you also check out the reviews because I've yet to find something I want that has really good reviews. Most are mediocre, if that. Please let me know if anyone has found a decent reward.

Ive been doing this for over 5 years and really like it. Some times it can be a pain in the butt when i have lots of stuff to scan. I like when i go to stores where i scan my card, i dont have to enter the price's on the scanner, makes it a lot faster.

I got my mom a really nice slow cooker a few years ago and then got my grandson a really nice Huffy bike last summer that he just loves.

I have 3 family members who are now on the waiting list to join.

I was wondering how long it took to get enough points for things if it was worth it or not. I looked at the prizes but boy the points were high. If you scan once a week you get points but how many and do surveys I guess would depend on how many points but what other things can you do to get points?

When you sign up you get 1,000 gift points for joining, then each week you transmit you get gift points. The longer your a member the higher your points will be..

0-6 months 150
7-12 months 200 points
1-2 years 225 points
2 years 235
3 years 245
4 years 255
5 years 280
6 years or more 325

Then they have Anniversary Points that you get at your three-month, six-month, and one-year anniversaries, these are extra.

Plus they have some thing called a Super Scanner Points, Super Scanners are awarded 350 additional gift points every month they qualify. Super Scanners can receive up to 4,200 additional gift points each year!

To qualify for them you must:
#
Transmit your purchase and/or survey information every week in a month, or
#
Make an "empty" transmission if your household has not shopped that week, or
#
Transmit the "Won’t Be Shopping Survey" if you will be unable to shop.

Plus they sent you surveys in your email to do and those are worth 150 points & some time they will ask that each member in your house hold that are 18 & over do the survey and every one gets the 150 points.

So to me i think the points add up fast...And the gifts you can get do change once in a while so i try not to look until i get enough point to get some thing nice.
