Lightspeed scam survey!
Did anyone else get this Lightspeed survey recently asking you to sign up with Consumer Say and you'd get either 2000 points with Lightspeed or $20 in you amazon.com account?
Everything starts out okay, then they start asking which credit cards you use and at what bank you got them through. Innocent enough. Then they have the nerve to ask for your username and password on your account for that card. Yes! They actually asked this. I know there are probably some people out there stupid enough to give out that information. It just makes me wonder...did this really come from Lightspeed or was it spam mail using their name?
I remember getting another survey similar to this from Lightspeed and I questioned the infamous Lauren about it. Of course, I never received a reply.

I received the Consumer Say survey also, there is no way I would give them the info they asked for. It's unbelievable that anyone would give this info out but I am sure that they do.

They've been trying to sign people up for ConsumerSay for years now, but did they really not tell you it was going to involve giving them personal account info? They used to specifically say it before you start taking the survey. Are they trying to be sneaky about it now, or did you all just not read everything fully before you started the survey?
It's definitely not spam, just a separate panel that monitors credit card accounts. It might be safe, but it's not worth only $20 to me to find out.

Yeah and theres no way I would give them that information either. You don't know who does these surveys for them. They could be criminals wanting private information.

I got booted out of LS a couple of months ago....? Anyway this is an old trick /signup. I would not do this crap for them for any amount of money. Whether its legit it not it only takes one bad employee to steal your info.
I do recall someone last year gave them a expired card #. but i would not even do that because its not hard to find out your info once they start getting your card numbers.....

speaking of scam surveys.. did anyone else get the one by mail from mysurvey asking you to send in copies of all your monthly bills? I wouldn't do that either. There's no way they are getting my household bills & account numbers, etc. That's just weird. They are asking way too many questions now for a measly couple of points.

I've done that one 2 years already. They let you cross out parts of the phone numbers. I don't care if they have my account number, what are they going to do, pay my bills for me? I wish! LOL!
There's no money in it they can take out, and I have autopay, so there's no credit card info on anything. It's an easy 500 points. :-)

I did the bills as well. My hubby sent them in and he is a stickler for handing out just any personal info. If he thought it was safe it definitely is. My Survey has been a good one for me.
