Thread: 20/20 Research GRRRRR, again!!

So I fill out a qualifier for an upcoming study. The guy calls me 10 days ago and runs through all the questions. After almost 40 min. on the phone, he tells me I am a "perfect" fit for the study. He says I will get an email in a couple of days with all the study details. I never get the email by day 4 so I call Wendy, the project manager. She says I will get the email on Monday. Well, Mondy comes and goes... no email. I call 20/20 back and leave a message. Nobody returns my call. Later today (Tues) I call Wendy back and she says she will look into and get back to me. No return call from her either. Finally, tonight the original guy calls me and says there was a mistake and I'm NOT in the study!! He said that one of the questions I answered didn't fit what they wanted!! So much for being a "perfect" fit. And this is the SECOND time 20/20 has done this to me. What a waste of my time they are! I am not at all happy with them.

Usually I have really good luck with 20/20. There was once when they ended up cancelling all the things I had going on except for one. That meant I was out about 700 bucks! One was for my son to answer and he'd get so much money for it and they had wanted to talk to him to make sure he qualified so he got his hopes all up. Since then it's been pretty good.

Sorry they did that to you...that would make me mad too.

Swann, the exact scenario happened with me also. Twice also. I do not bother filling out their screeners anymore. They run a poor operation.

I have never even qualilfyfor any 20/20 survey I've filled out. Never get a call or anything. You at least got farther than a lot of us have.
