Thanks for the post T!! I am "too old" for this study, but I'm going to email it to my daughter. Truly sad how 3 of us live in the same house, but we email stuff to each other instead of telling each other everything!!

What sucks is that even though I am "too old" for their study, I have more Victoria's Secret's stuff then everyone I know combined. I not only buy the bras, panties, lingerie, etc., but I have a bunch of the clothes that they sell also -- pants, shirts, pj's, etc. I usually shop through the catalog, but I go to the store when the coupon book has something good that month, or if they're having a good sale. I actually haven't shopped through them since Feb. I think & for me that's a long time. Problem is, I have so much clothes, but I don't go out often, due to my life. I also still have stuff with tags on them -- from about a year ago. It's a running joke with the neighbors in the few houses on my block that are closest to my house - that when I used to go out to check the mail, help bring bags in from the car, etc. they all said that they loved my outfit. I would be wearing my pj's & I always have to match not only the top to the bottoms, but also the socks have to match. The way I see it is, since I don't go out & get dressed in clothes, then the least I can do is treat my pj's as if they were clothes & make sure I'm matching!! I never claimed to be normal

I always hated to shop, even when I was younger. I remember, as a teen, I was shopping & found a pair of pants that I liked ("working" buttons down the sides of both legs & almost straight-legged - I'm really dating myself here, huh?!?!) Anyways, I just picked the same pants up in 3 different colors since I couldn't stand shopping & wanted to leave -- problem is, I never looked at the size on the other 2 before leaving the store & they weren't my size so I had to go back & exchange them.

Then about 10 years ago, I started going shopping with my daughter -- more as a friend then a parent -- & we haven't stopped since!! She's good though - she'll talk herself out of buying something by rationalizing -- my thing is, it took me until I was 35 yrs. young to really enjoy clothes shopping (shoes too!!) so I have some time to make up for. As for having too much clothes for the amount of time I actually go outside -- my daughter can wear a lot of my stuff, so at least they are being used, right? She likes it too, since she doesn't have to spend her money, but she has almost quadruple the amount of clothes that she actually did pay for.

She going to be really happy soon when she gets a bunch of my clothes to wear for keeps. I've been stressed out (way more than usual) since Jan. & every time I get stressed like this, I lose weight. Normally, I would have been happy since I had to lose about 20 lb. anyway, but I knew I was going to go through the same thing that I did about 7 years ago - I had lost weight too fast & some people kept asking me if I was sick (terminal) because of how thin I got I how thin my face looked. Unfortunately for me, this time it's worse than it was then -- and when I went for my regular Dr.'s appointment, my Dr. told me that if it keeps up the way that it has he is going to run some tests. I have my monthly appointment on Tues. (6/24) so I don't know if he's going to do anything then or not. I don't know what exactly he will test for because first: he never went into specifics, only said he'd run tests -- & second: I told him that it's because I've been stressed more than usual & I can't help it because it just happens. So, we'll see what happens on Tuesday - maybe he'll forget when I go there, & I'll "forget" to remind him.

Anyway - sorry for running on like this. I haven't done this for a while & anyone who's seen me around the board all these years have probably seen me post long, rambling replies from time to time - probably more than you'd like to experience, & for that I am truly sorry - it's just that sometimes I need someone to talk to & as I've already said (in a sappy way), I think of the people here as my second family (I need a life!!). So, just like "drunk Aunt Mary" or "senile Aunt Lucille", I ramble from time to time!! But, I always address the original post to which I am replying (so maybe I'm not all that senile, just drunk!!), & I love you all for letting me indulge from time to time.
(I've been up since 6 pm tuesday if you haven't guessed)

Lastly (YEAH!!!! I can hear the sighs of relief all across America right now), Getting back to the original topic, I just wanted to let anyone know if they were interested - at Victoria's Secret------------>>

I just got an email from them

I just got an email from them and I didn't get in, so if you applied for this one check your emails and see if you got in. This is what my email said:

    Dear Respondent,

Thank you very much for taking the time to fill out the online questionnaire.

I wanted to let you know that I did receive the questionnaire you filled out online; although I am sorry to say that you do not qualify we will not be able to use you for the research study.

Thank you again for your time, and we will call you in the future when we have new studies available.

    Jennifer
