Health info study ~Seattle WA

Researchers in the UW Information School want to know: How do you make decisions about health information that you find online?

What's happening?
Take our short (10 minute) online questionnaire located at http://staff.washington.edu/lacena. If you choose to participate in a 1-hour focus group, free refreshments will be served.

Who's eligible?
We are looking for people who:

Are healthy adults between ages 18 and 65

Have ever used the Internet to search about health or medicine

Visit http://staff.washington.edu/lacena to take the survey and learn more about this project.

You do not need to be a medical professional to participate.

Researchers:
Amelia Lacenski, Student, The Information School at the University of Washington

Grace Preyapongpisan, Student, The Information School at UW

Dr. Wanda Pratt, Faculty Adviser, The Information School at UW

If you have questions about this study, please contact the researchers at medsrch@u.washington.edu. If you have questions about your rights as a subject, please call the University of Washington Human Subjects Division at 206-543-0098.
