    Math help needed

If 10.5 points pay 5 cents, how much does 9 points pay?

    10.5 points=$.05
    1 point = $.00476
    9 points =$.0428

(But don't trust my math. Everyone knows that mathemeticians can't do math.)

That was fine math, LuvSheltie. I used to be a high school math teacher (in a former life).

Now our daughter teaches high school math while I take care of the grandchildren! LOL

My Mom is a Mathematician/Statistician and works for the Food and Drug Admistration (commonly referred to as the FDA) - and 20 years after her degrees she STILL can do my differential equations and quantum mechanics (highly abstract physical chemistry) homework in a matter of hours.

She nows everything- and not just about math

PDE'S? Heck, I have the Partial Differential Equations somewhere for why paint sticks to walls and why ducks legs don't freeze in water during the winter - but that's not real math

(And don't ask about how ladybug and aphid populations relate and the programming involved in simulating the PDE's.

Yep, one of THOSE mathemeticians )
