Could someone explain HiltonHHonors points?

Do you really get free hotel stays or do you have to rent a night or two THEN get one for free? Any info would be awesome. Ive got alot of points and would be disappointed if I misunderstood. TIA

It seems that there are many different redemptions available for Hotel stays.
Each has a different point redemption level.

ValuePoint rewards appear to be Buy X, Get one free. Such as B3G1 free (10,000 points) or B2G1 free (12,500 points) The higher the point value, the less you have to pay for.

Standard rewards seem to be for a single nights stay, at specific hotels. (Apparently, There are many categories, and each category has a different rate. To redeem this level, you search for qualifying hotels at the level you want.

I have redeemed my points twice this year. I collect hilton points from erewards.com basically this is the only way i earn them. Never paid a cent. Any questions just ask

I have a question for ya...... Do you have to book rooms with the same name as your account with them??? Let's say I book a room using my CC or my HHonors points, but I want my mom to stay there instead of me....can I do that???

Hey FrEEbiZ4Me, that is the way Ive earned all of my points. I was mainly wondering if you have to rent a night or two first in order to get your free nights stay. Im cheap. Im trying for a free night away from the kids.

Okay - can someone tell me what erewards.com is and how it works? I have been earniong Hilton Honors points with a Hilton Honors credit card, but I am definately interested in learning how to ear more. Thanks for any help!

OMGosh...saying that because its a pretty good site) Surprised you havent heard of it by now. http://www.e-rewards.com they send you emails to read. They send good paying surveys. And it is really quick to earn money. Check it out.
