Bartels Music Research- $50 if you qualify

Help us choose the music on one of your favorite radio stations!

We'd like your help in deciding what music you like, and what you don't like, at a session on Tuesday, March 29. If you're free for the 6pm or 8pm session, you'll listen to music for two hours, tell us what you think about each song, and get $50.00 for your time. This is no sales gimmick, we don't have anything to sell, it's market research to help a local radio station become better. Most people who've done it say they had a great fun...and it was the easiest fifty bucks they ever received.

I did a similar thing last year, but I didn't get paid for it. A college student called and said he was doing a music survey for a project and asked if I would participate. No money in it, but I agreed to help out a student. After each song, you had to indicate your opinion on a scale that included things like "I would change the station if this song was played." I'm not sure if this research will be similar, but it sounds fun! Unfortunately for me, I won't be available that evening.

It says "local station" ... where is this located? I think you are supposed to go them (their office)

I participate in many focus groups like this - we go to them. (Sometimes it is live on the computer, but I didn't read anything to indicate it was on the computer ... I am still stuck on "LOCAL radio station"

LOL! These people are sure to be surprised when they get people from all over the country trying to get in!

I just read it again - IT IS IN CALIFORNIA (Sorry BuffaloWings, I seriously doubt you will get in)
