I got this email from Memolink. Did you know this was happening with Hotmail? I get emails from PCH but not from Memolink. HMMMMM

Dear Marilyn:

Thanks for writing. It looks like your e-mail address is not being sent e-mails
because Hotmail, as a host, has not responded to our last 10+ e-mails we
attempted to send you. As a business rule and to comply with the law, we have
our internal system set up to automatically take your e-mail address out of the
database for outgoing e-mails after a certain number of failures has occurred
(yours being 10+ failures). So in essence, after several failed attempts to
email you, our system identified you as an unwilling recipient of our email. So
to comply with the law, we stopped sending you e-mails. If you didn't want
e-mails from us, and we continued sending them, your e-mail program (Hotmail)
would put us on a sort of ”Black List” and that would result in no Hotmail
members receiving Memolink e-mails - even if they wanted to receive them.

I am going to null out your failures and add you back into the database and
let's see if that works. If so, you should begin receiving e-mails again by
Monday. If mails continue to bounce though, you will be removed from the
database again. If your e-mail program continues to block our e-mails though,
unfortunately I cannot do anything about it and you will need to use a different
e-mail address. Hotmail supposedly does have a way to turn off the filter so
you may inquire with them about how to do that.

Hotmail has caused problems for lots of GPTRE programs too. I would recommend using a different free email provider such as Yahoo or GMail. If you would like me to send you a free invitation to join GMail, send me a PM with your current email address (Hotmail should work fine for this) and I'll send you an invite. GMail is an invitation-only program. GMail is a great email provider -- I highly recommend it!

I've posted about this before since I've been having them have to put me back in the database over and over... Hotmail won't do anything about their filter, tho everyone has been complaining to them. I haven't switched to another email address yet, but I may soon, since the Memolink techs don't seem to be making any progress with the hard heads at Hotmail. I know there is a big spam problem, but we should be able to decide which companies we don't consider spam!

I got the same email when I emailed memolink, except remove all of the "hotmail" and put in "yahoo".

Hey, I got some email from memolink!!!!!!!! Guess sending the letter I got from memolink to hotmail did the job with hotmail. LOL

Unfortunately, that's not true. It was the resetting of your account by Memolink that restarted your emails. It takes a few days after they do it. And in about a week, they will probably stop again after hotmail blocks more of them, and you will have to ask for another reset. I've been thru this for months!

I think this has just happened to me with yahoo. I got Memolink to reset my account and got emails from them for a week or so, and now they've stopped again.

I havent gotten any emails from Memolink since they booted me from MemoGold back to Memolink. That was months ago. I have internet explorer with a Worldnet.att address. I thought they were just not sending them out anymore except for MemoGold.
