This is my first time to post. I hope I am doing this right. I received a $10.00 check from Lightspeed Online Research last week. I cashed it at my bank and I received it back from my bank today with payment stopped stamped on it. They took the amount of the check out of my bank account to cover the check. I have recieved several checks from Lightspeed and this is the first time I have had this problem. Has anyone else had their payment stopped from Lightspeed.

No--Not Yet! I just cashed a $20.00 check from them a few days ago. Hope this isn't a new trend for them. Like you say, their checks have been good in the past.

I've never had a problem with them. I did a product test for them last year and got a $75 check, and it went through just fine. That is scary. I almost have enough points to cash out; I hope that doesn't happen with mine.

If they had done that to me, I would contact my states fraud division, and also fill charges against them in court. That is wrong of them. Please post what they answer you about this.

Yes, please let us know what kind of response you get. I just went and cashed out for Amazon gift certificate after you said this happened with the check.

I e-mailed them yesterday as soon as I got the check back. I haven't received a reply from them yet. I will let everyone know what happens.

when someone puts a stop payment on a check they have to give a reason. was there any reason attached to the check?

There was no reason attached to the check and I still have not heard from Lightspeed.
