My husband has two cataract surgies scheduled
He has surgery on the left eye on May 14th and on the right eye on June 11th. One good thing that came out of this is his eye surgeon when he was examining my husbands eyes and he would jerk real hard when he shone the light in his eye said he knew what was wrong with him. He said he was sensitive to flashing light and that there was a pill you can take to help it. He gave the name of the sickness but I can't remember it. But he said he'd write it down and give him a prescription and to take it to the neurologist and he could test him for it and prescribe the medicine. So maybe that will take care of some of his jerking. They were trying to take pictures of his eyes and he would jerk so bad they couldn't get them. But the doctor did. I had to hold his head really hard but he would still jerk. The doctor said he'd give him something that would stop the jerking before the surgery and he's using local anesthisia because of his breathing. They're doing it at a hospital in case of any complications.

I'm really glad they will be doing it at the hospital. He will be in my prayers. You will too.
It is great someone finally thinks they know what is causing his reaction to light. I hope they can get to the bottom of it and get him on meds to help it.

And the cataract surgery is a piece of cake! (I had both eyes done last year.) I know he'll do well. Prayers go with you both.
