If you could...
I'm not a very religious person, but my family needs all the positive/sympathetic thoughts, prayers and whatever sent up to whichever higher power you believe in.
My cousin called this morning and woke me up. Her estranged husband shot himself in the head. They took him from the local hospital to a larger hospital about an hour away. By the time my mother and cousin got there, he was gone. If that wasn't bad enough, his only daughter is pregnant with her first child and due within the next month. She has been having lots of problems with her blood pressure in the last couple of months and spent a night in the hospital as recently as last week. She knows that her father has passed away, but she's still unaware of how. My cousin is on the way to Louisville (3hr drive) to be with her daughter and break the whole news to her. Tonia (the daughter) is definitely going to need everything that she can get. Thank you all for reading and taking the time to send up those thoughts/prayers.
