Thats insane... I really pray things work out for your family. Can you make the military pay to move your household back to the states since they changed the contract?

We have no recourse. The military changed the contrct with DH's company, not with DH. He wasn't guaranteed employment, it's a regular job just one where the company has a contract to work for the military. They are the only ones who could really sue and have any chance. Except they are a huge defense contractor and choosing to sue the military when you are a defense contractor pretty much guarantees that your compnay is done for.
Thank you all so much. I may be a religious cynic at times but I really do believe in the power of prayer.

You have my BEST wishes Bahet. I TRULY do NOT understand how our goverment can do these types of things to our hard working, loyal serving soldiers!!! IMHO I feel our soldiers should get the best of things while serving and when they come home! Our serving politicians do and they are safe and secure in America!

We aren't in the military. DH is a retired reservist. That might help him get in a better position for a GS job. DH is working as a civillian for a defense contractor on a military base.
