I'm so glad to come here and see this good news. Still praying that God lets this little one be home with her family for Christmas. What a christmas present. I have goosebumps just thinking about how good God is. What a blessing to read that she is responding. That is so good.

Ugh.... well... while I was back visiting family I got to go and visit Zaria. Her poor little head is still so swollen. I also found out that contrary to what I've been told she is not expected to make it. She was actually sent home to pass. That the damage is too extensive for her to be able to come back from. She is on a feeding tube. She can now open both eyes and will look around and reacts to sounds, but doesn't recognize familiar faces. The drs said that since she is a baby and her brain is still developing that it will take longer for her to pass than an adult. It's really sad and my cousin is in denial telling ppl that she is getting better, so that is where I was getting my info. I cannot imagine how hard this would be though, I don't think I could go around telling ppl my child was slowly dying either. Thank you to all of you who have been keeping her in your thoughts, I really appreciate it and I know my cousin does too.

Shann I'm so sorry to hear that. As a Mom, I can see where your cousin would be telling people that. To her since she is in denial, she is getting better by opening her eyes and so forth. I pray for the whole family, especially the Mom. It will be devastating when she passes.
