I am so sad- Message from Renrut
As most of you guys know, me and Chelle are super close. I just spoke to her and was told I could share,
On Tuesday Sept 16th, her son (only child) Zane was playing soccer at school and hurt himself in the groin area. That night she took him to the ER and they told him that he pulled a muscle. She took him home. He kept hurting more and more.
Then on Thursday Sept 25th, he came to her and told her that his testicle was swollen. She looked and realized that one was the size of a softball.
They went back to the ER and the Dr did an ultrasound and found that it wasn't getting blood flow. They did surgery to try to get the blood flowing back through. He had 22 stitches down there!!!!!
He wasn't able to leave until yesterday afternoon because he had fever since the surgery and had to be able to keep it down normal for at least 8 hours with no Tylenol.
The Dr called today with the results from the ultrasound yesterday...
Apparently the surgery didn't work, he has to go back to the hospital today, they have to remove the testicle. To make things worse, they find the cause of the fever, he has infection in the other testicle. That one has an 80% chance of removal as well.
He is so upset saying that he is going to be a freak now
She is so upset for multiple reasons, one he is her ONLY child, and now she will probably never have grandchildren...
I am heartbroken for her I have no idea what to say or do...
Everyone please pray that he can keep the other one..

I will keep her in my thoughts and prayers. I know at this poit it is a hard pill to swallow but there are worse things at least keeping her son healthy and they make prostetics. There is always adoption and also if he marries someone with kids.

That is so sad.....that poor family......yes, it could always be worse.....but this is so sad on so many levels....
