I have a incurable nerve disorder
I have a incurable nevers disorder know as RSD. I have ahd this for 5 years and it is now spreading throught my entire body. No cure insight. This was cause by an on the job injury at a large retail company. They have no care or corncern and do not care if I live or die. They are denying everything that can help with the 24/7 pain and wont even send my time loss checks. I even contacted this company and they just sent it to thier attorney. I ask for prayers as I sit here and lose everything I own while my husband works. 1200.00 a month for all the bill dont leave much for the rest. I have sold everything I own just to make ends meets and sometimes wonder if its even woth it anymore. Thanks for letting me write sometimes it helps to get it off my chest.

I also have RSD. I went threw pure hell dealing with comp, docs and everything. I was dx in 1999 and it was horrible back then. I have been through numerous series of nerve blocks (6 different series of 18), I have had a pain (medication) pump implanted, I have had 3 different SCS (spinal cord stimulators), I have tried many many different pain medication, biofeedback, etc. The last SCS I had, I triped over the dog and it broke the lead, so they removed it, implanted another and misplaced the leads. So they removed it. I ended up in "remission" after the last surgery. It is wonderful to not be in such misery 24/7. The doc said it could raise its ugly head any day, so I hold on to the pain free days as tight as I can. I worry that if I trip or run into something or just a simple little bump will bring it back. I truly understand what you are going through. But don't give up. NEVER GIVE UP!!! Please feel free to PM me if you would like to talk. I founded and ran a support group for RSDers. I will keep you in my prayers.

My MIL has it too. Hers was from an on the job injury also. She was off of work for a long time. She finally had nerve blocks that worked and was able to go back to work. I will be praying for you. Please never give up.

I'm sorry that you're in so much pain. I'll keep you in my thoughts. I have a friend with RSD and my friend's 17 y/o son was just diagnosed and I see what they go through.

I'm sorry you're going through this. I'll pray that the pain gets better for you where you can feel better. Can you get on disabilty or workmens comp to help you out financially? I'll pray for that for you too. I really hope things get better for you.

Don't lose hope. You are surrounded by the love of people who care. Constant pain can affect your body chemistry (lack of sleep) and bring on depression. Please seek alternative treatments -- have you tried acupuncture? I've known people who swear by it for pain relief.
Try to find things that make you laugh -- it helps boost your endorphins, which should make you feel better. Even in tough times, you can't afford to lose your sense of humor. That's when you need it the most
And never underestimate the power of prayer. You have lots coming your way.
