I'm sorry? I don't remember EVER attacking muslims.

I was ATTEMPTING to illustrate a point in politics. SOME topics are verboten, (Abortion, Homosexuality, Mulims as in NO way equal examples) while others are fair game to jump on at will.

Christianity, Conservatives, Oil Companies what have you.

SOME things out there NO one is supposed to be allowed to voice ANY opposition to.

This has been going on at College Campuses and Universities for decades.

Freedom of speech so long as you are on the right side! (which in most cases happens to be the LEFT side)

I have to say that I find it funny though that people want to spend SO much time in a religious forum justto talk crap about people with reigious beliefs.

I could sit here and post TONS of crap under a thread heading of...

Stupid comments made by Liberal leftists and Pinkos!

I could post literally HUNDREDS of hateful, vitriolic posts, sites etc.

That would not prove that ALL Liberals are hateful, vile people anyomore than the links that are being provided condemn ALL Christians.

There is good and bad in every person, political party, religion or what have you.

That is SO not true. I have read jokes on here about every thing you have mentioned. Catholic nun jokes etc. And I post the lol news and Politics pix and they are funny to me and they joke about reps, dems and everything in between.

To me, if it's funny, well then, it's just funny, even if it is about my religion or political party etc.

And those comments were stupid, coming from anyone, but especially coming from people who profess to be Christians. And I posted a lolpic about Pagans and no one complained, but then I posted one with the Pope in it and people went the frak off.

And as far as forcing others to follow your beliefs, I didn't mean over the internet, I meant that by trying to get laws enacted that coincide with your religion IS trying to force others to follow your beliefs. If you believe same sex marriage is wrong, is get a law enacted that enforces, then it DOES force society to abide by your religious belifs.

I wasn't aware that I brought up muslims very much.

Secondly, no my comments on what happens on college campuses is FACT.

Has been since the early seventies. Speak out against Equal Opportunity, you will be silenced! Speak out against Homosexuality, illegal immigration etc and see what happens.

I personally KNOW of some people who wanted to have an all white club on thir camous in the Seventies as a response to Chinese Student Unions, Black Student unions etc. They were NOT allowed to do so.

Yeah I got that as well. I DON'T support forcing my views on anyone else. Through legislation or otherwise. Unless you mena on Abortion? I think it should be banned like it was before Roe V Wade as it was murder then and it is murder now. That would be my feeling were I to hav NO religion. As for a Federal intervention into the gay marriage debate? NOT the place of the federal Govt. Let each state VOTE on it. The ones who allow it IMO will regret it down the road. Every time we do something that weakens the traditional family it COSTS us as a soceity.

I have this funny feeling (kinda like spidey sense) that some people do not like my discussing religion on the religion form.

Some people might find it not funny. meh.

Some people may not find this topic interesting. meh.

I do findit interesting and will continue to post here and encourage others to do so.

This thread is not an attack. It is observational discussion.

And like I said before how is it even possible to offend someone's religious beliefs?
