well, since this thread was about things Christians say, here is a link to another site. Let's just say they have some very strange views over there.

THANK YOU!!! This is exactyl what I'm talking about. I especially love how they suggest sucicide as an option. I'm keeping it open just to read and laugh at. Wonderful Christians. Jesus would be pleased.

OK, WHY exactly do you hold "Religious People" to a higher standard? Religious people are for all intents and purposes NO different than NON religious people.

SHOULD they be? Absolutely!

Does that give you the right to watch them for EVERY instance of "hypocrisy" you can find?

Have you ever read some of the blogs from the "LOVING" liberal left?

I have heard PRIESTS issue death threats to Gun Store owners, for god's sakes!

This is really in poor taste.

I would HAVE to think that if your target was "Religion" in general you wouldn't have called out "Christians"!!

If you had labeled this as "Stupid things that MUSLIMS say", I wonder how fast it would have been locked?

I wonder why it's ok for Liberals to constantly judge "Christians" while expecting us to sit by and judge NOTHING?

Because people who follow a religion are supposed to be a living example of their object of worship...correct? Your comment on preists who make death threats is a great example. So was Ithinknot's.

I'm always fascinated by the people who put 'God in front of them' and then act these jerks in this other forum. I laugh.

HOWEVER, just because someone calls themselves one, don't make it so.

IMO (which coincidentally is also supported by the bible) if being a Christian hasn't resulted in any real change in your life, politics, dealings with friends and neighbors etc. Then maybe your heart wasn't in it and it wasn't a true conversion.

It is also my firm belief that ALL matters between "Christians" be settled by God's word. When many "Christians" don't even BELIEVE the Bible, I fail to see how they can BE Christians.

In the final analysis only GOD knows who the "Christians" are. IF you would lay down your life for the gospel of Christ? You more than likely ARE a Christian. IF you are unwilling to risk losing a friend by telling them what the Bible has to say about something? You aren't.

Remember Matthew 10:32-39 as Jesus says

"32Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

33But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

34Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

35For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

36And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

37He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

However, I fail to see where you have actually attacked anyones religious beliefs.

IF you posted something about Jesus never existing, or being risen..THAT would be an attack on my beliefs.

Pointing out "funy" examples of people who don't practice what they preach; has nothing to do with the merit/veracity of their faith.

More to do with the seriousness of their commitment.
