Thanks I want to call him today and see if he's doing ok. Probably talk to his wife but thats ok.
I called but couldn't talk to him because he's in ICU. But I talked to his daughter and she said they took the breathing tube out this morning so he's breathing on his own and his heart seems to be working good. So now I feel a lot better. Thank all of you for your well wishes and prayers. They helped I know. Now I can take a deep breath and relax.

He's getting out of the hospital tomorrow if nothing happens. I talked to him today and he sounded really good, a little out of breath, but he said the doctor said that would go away. The swelling from the surgery is pressing on his lungs. He was walking the halls yesterday and all in all he said he doesn't have much pain and is feeling better already. So all your prayers and wellwishes really helped thank you. Please keep him in your prayers a little longer to make sure there are no complications. I told him we were praying for him and he said he really appreciates it.

Well he is lucky that he could get an angiogram and ECHO scheduled so fast. My husband just had a double bypass, valve replacement and repair to his aorta done a couple of weeks ago.
Glad you brother is doing so well.

Thats a lot done. I hope he's doing better now. That would have worried me sick if it was my husband. I can't get over how my brother says he already feels better after the surgery except for the shortness of breath. He said he's not in a lot of pain. Which I'm glad of. I hope your husband recovers fast too.

Glad it worked out so well for him. Boy the things they can do now.And the recovery is so fast. Someone said the pain isn't where they do the surgery it is in the leg where they have a tube at. Something like that.
handle a stressful situation like a dog If you can't eat it or hump it. Piss on it and walk away.

The leg where they harvested the artery is where dh had most of the pain. The major reason is because when they harvested the artery it shortened it and it has to "stretch" back out.
