My sister lisa is 47 yrs old, she just found out she has breast cancer. I am just beside myself. I lost my mom 7 yrs ago to cancer and her and I are the only ones in the family that stayed together only we are a 1000 miles apart. I am going to FL next week to be with her through this. I had to quit my job I just started but thats ok I need to be with her and she needs me now more than ever.
Please pray for her and her healing. My kids aren't out of school yet so I have to leave them here with their dad :-(

I am adding her to my prayer list. I have a sister too and even though we are not close and we do not get along good, she is still my sister so I do know how it hurts to have family sick.

Thank you all so very much, I havent been sleeping much and doing alot of thinking about life changes. She has never smoked or drank and asking god why she deserves this but I guess there is a reason for everything and we may never know why.
Your words of encouragement will help me get through this.
Her and my nephew every Sunday volunteer at the animal shelter and she told me yesterday that doing that gives her comfort, I said then keep doing it on your day off.
She is a very strong willed person so she will be ok.
