Is it 5 days since the thread was started or 5 days since the last reply?

I though it was last reply...

If that is the case, people are posting new threads way too early. (Like 75% of the posts.)

I noticed that too. I'm not sure why, I think folks are getting confused.

I'm sure it'll work out though, when folks get used to searching this new way.

Just so I'm clear, isn't it last valid reply.
For instance someone posts a link, then someone else joins under him. Then there are a few posts that don't contain links, be it someone posting that they were going to sign up but didn't, questions about the program, people incorrectly saying the post isn't valid, whatever.
Would we go by the last post with a link or the last post?

I always read it as being "last response" also; that is, until a couple of weeks ago. I pointed out that there was already a valid link for a program and I was told that the rule meant last valid link posted as opposed to last post. There had been discussion in this thread for a day or so after the last link was posted so technically, even though the post ended on day 2 the last valid link was posted on day 1.

I think it's all simply a matter of something we learned in kindergarten - wait your turn. I have seen so many threads fall to the wayside because people just do not want to follow the rules. The whole point of this board is to help each other get referrals, isn't it?

Like for example, ****ter40 did signed up duplicate thread ... which was not supposed to.. i did posted "mailmoreinfo" first before this person moblizer ...
i did posted saying stop the thread...

Check your time mpage7, moblizers' was posted first, I've been waiting for the boards to come back up so I could sign up.
This is when yours was posted: 02-15-2003 11:23 AM and this is when moblizers' was posted: 02-15-2003 05:59 AM. I always thought that 6 a.m. came before 11:30 a.m.

Well I learned something. I know if I see the link for the program i am searching for I sign up under the last person. But have seen the forementioned occurances several times. WOW! You are right bonbonely CAOS!
