My daughter got to sub today and they asked her to sub again tomorrow. She graduated with a degree in teaching but hasn't been able to find a job so this is a blessing.

I'm thankful my husband worked 12 hours then did our leaves and the widowed neighbors too. I swept and cleaned the insides of my car and his truck while he did it. I'm also thankful we had a nice day to do it.

I am thankful for the students at my school who love to talk to the lunch ladies (I am one of them). I am especially thankful for a special needs student who would not talk to me last year but is now starting to talk a little. Small steps that are huge milestones!

Thankful that my husband has such a great sense of humor. I had a bad day at work. Came home... burned dinner. I was so MAD at everything and everyone. Mark left to get ink for the printer so DD could finish homework... came home with Raisin Canes' and chocolate.

I am thankful that I didn't get hurt when the seat on my exercise bike collapsed on me today. It was sure sudden and shocking.

I am thankful that my co-worker's pregnant daughter's illness yesterday was not serious (once she re-hydrated) and she will be on track to have her baby just fine. Remember everyone, drink plenty of fluids - dehydration can cause symptoms that look very serious!
