Has anyone gone ? What is your experience with them ? Looking for a "different" vacation without spending too much ?

What is YOUR definition of not spending too much?? Their prices range from $200-$600 a night.

I've seen the ones in Niagara Falls, and Sandusky Ohio, but never stayed at one. They look really nice.

I'd rather pay the extra and spend a whole day at a water park with lots of water slides, than just a few in the hotel. 'Course that's just me.

Which one are you thinking of going to??

They have one in Texas ... outside of Dallas. The room is 199 for six people and includes the tickets for the water park. If we get Blue Bayou tickets they would run us $40 apiece ... plus parking... no lodging...

I've seen the one you're talking about, it's very pretty... it's also across the street (freeway, really... it's all on 121 and it's easy enough to get to) from a MASSIVE outlet mall that would take a good two days to walk if you went in every store, walked to the back and then back out (or maybe I'm just slow, I'm sure you could do it in one day if you only went in stores you were interested in)... we go there a couple times a year... it's fun but exhausting. It's called Grapevine Mills Mall. There's also the Dallas Aquarium, the Dallas Zoo and the Ft Worth Zoo (it's farther but the FW Zoo is far superior). If you do end up in FW, there's the science museum which is really fun too.

Can't get much cheaper than that....especially since it includes the amusement (water park). Go for it & have fun.

There is one about an hour away from me. I've never been because I don't have small children but I do know people who went there & loved it.

Ive been to the one in Wisconsin Dells once a few yrs ago. Its really geared towards kids 10 and under IMO.

You can sometimes find great deals on the internet or even on their website.

We're planning on going some place similiar on spring break later this month. It looks like so much fun! We can get a room with a full kitchen for 4 for $149 a night.
