Do you eat the bones in canned salmon?
When we were growing up my sister and I used to fight over the bones and I still eat them. My son, however, picks them out if he can see them and if he does get one in his mouth, he spits it out. I always heard that's where some of the good-for-you stuff is. So do you eat them or toss them?

I make salmon patties from time to time out of the canned. I try to take out most of the bone that I can. I have eaten the spine part (thats what I call it), the little round like ones, but not the spikey like long ones. My girls don't care either way.

Thats the biggest reason I hate fish is the bones so I won't even eat it if there is a chance of a bone in my mouth..lol YUCK.

Well I refuse to eat the bones - gross. I buy the skinless boneless salmon it is in a smaller can looks like a tuna can and it is a little more expensive but none of the skin or bones.

I do not... under any circumstances... eat things that lived in the water. I would have to be starving, or thinking I was going to starve.... so no, I don't eat the bones... but hubby does.
