    Tone-ups shoes or sandles

Does anyone have the tone-up shoes or sandels? If so do they help? are they comfortable? I have heard that if you have a bad back or arthritis in knees that they will help..we have an outlet here with the sandels and the price is around $40.00 and up.

I have the same issues as you do, which prevents me from doing much walking.

I'd like to know this answer too.
If they won't benefit me in that way, I don't want to pay $90

There was a thread back in May on the shoes. Here is the link if you want to look at it.

I think Payless is now carrying a version of these. I am going to get a pair for the fall when I start walking on my treadmill again.

I got the KMart cheapies that run about $40.00 (I even got them on clearance for 50% off) and I just love them. I walk on gravel up and down a mountain road. After about two miles my lower back would start to ache and I would be done. The first time I put these on I had a spring in my step and I did three miles without a twinge. I've since done the entire five mile circle and still have no pain. I got a pair for my son and he says he likes the way they feel too. These are the tennis shoes, not the sandals, I can't tell any difference when I wear those.

Too bad they are so ugly.

I have the EasyTone sandles by Reebok. They are very cushiony and comfortable but I dont notice any difference in them from any of my other sandles besides that. I have have the easytone tennis shoes but haven't worn them yet.

I have the rokr flipflps and shoes from New Balance. I love mine, though the flipflops are about worn out now. They really do help tighten up your buttocks but it's not a huge difference. Good shoes for walking.
It's only kinky the first time.

I got some for my husband when I read about them. He still has the back pain but he loves the shoes. He won't wear any others.
His are not ugly but then he is a man and they are just black shoes.
