I only had 3, one did not develop. Must not be as wise! LOL I had all 3 of them taken out at the same time. 2 were coming in sideways and had to be literally dug out of my jaw. I didnt have any problems with pain what so ever. My dentist is a total HOTTIE and that might have helped numb it a bit! LOL
Keep your chin up!

Mine all came in but they collected so much food and were hard to clean so the dentist advised me to have them removed. They aren't really good for anything.
I went to an oral surgeon and he put me out. I didn't feel a thing. He gave me pain pills but only took one and slept it off. No problem.
My hubby had to go to the hospital for outpatient. One was growing sideways. The surgeon said it was the hardest tooth he ever took out. It was fused to the tooth in front and he wanted to save that tooth. My hubby's jaw was swollen up so he had to use ice packs and pain pills. He had waited though to get enough money, he could have had it done when he was younger if not for that.

I had emergency surgery to have mine out.. For two years I kept having sinus infection after sinus infection, really bad ones. My face would swell so bad that I wouldn't even be able to open my eyes. Well I woke up one day with worse sinus pain than I had ever had, went to the er. they did xrays and my top two wisdom teeth were in my sinus cavity. The roots growing were causing the pain. Had to have emergency surgery, they went ahead and took the bottom two while they were in there. It was six weeks before I could have solid food, it was HORRIBLE! Most of my face was quite bruised it was an awful ordeal.

In Jan, after years of pain, I had all four out. I was so glad to have them over and done with.
We had us, we had him, now we have everything.

I never even felt mine come in. Which is very uncommon.
I just went in one year for my checkup... and there all 4 were.
Straight, and with no issues.
SO, after 20 years, They are still in my headSo hard, not to facepalm some people

I chose other. I had one removed, one is coming in sideways, one is coming in fine and one never came in. I hate the dentist, I hate pain in my mouth, so they are staying where they are.

I was put to sleep & had 2 removed by an oral surgeon. Then I had one become infected & my dentist tried to remove it in his office which only made matters worse. I had to go back to the oral surgeon but since it was so infected I could not be out to sleep. This happened in the matter of 1 day & I ALWAYS went to my dentist every 6 months. Eventhough I had novacaine & was on Vicadim for a broken ankle, that was the worst pain I have ever experienced.
I have to get the last one removed but I am dreading it. I want to find a different oral surgeon since the one I did have is soooo RUDE & insensetive.Insanity is hereditary. You get it from your kids.

I, too, have no teeth... but, I'm not really sure if I ever had wisdom teeth. I never felt them if they came in... so I just don't know.

I had braces and had 4 teeth removed. My wisdom teeth were supposed to replace those 4 teeth the orthodontist had removed to help straighten my teeth. But they all came in when I was 20 and my mouth was too overcrowded for them to get in. I had them all removed in 2 days. To those of you with dentures, how is it? My girlfriend says to take care of my teeth because she hates dentures.
