Does Santa wrap your children's gifts or not?

I was just reading the thread about traditions and it made me wonder...who does what? Does Santa wrap your children's gifts, or leave them open under the tree?

As a child, all my gifts from Santa were not wrapped. But in this house, Santa wraps my son's gifts because he must know that I really want to see my son's reaction!

A couple years ago, my friend called me nuts because of this. Of course, I always used paper different from our own, and used my left hand to write the tag, so it did not look like mine. Now, the jig is up, he knows it is all me, so there will always be "from Santa" gifts, but the will be neatly wrapped!

Santa didn't wrap gifts in our house. I enjoyed seeing the kids faces when the first walked into the room and saw their gifts under the tree. We wrapped the gifts from us. I remember not believing in Santa anymore because once I could read, I recognized my parents writing and figured it out.

Santa wraps gifts at our home. We dont have to write names on the gifts because Santa color codes the gifts... my oldest(hes 18 now) gets blue wrapped gifts,my middle(16) gets green wrapped gifts and my daughter(12) gets purple wrapped gifts. Santa wraps my husband's gift in red and my gift is in white paper. We explained to our kids when they were much younger that Santa knows their favorite colors and that is why he does it that way.

Santa wrapped my kids gifts when they were little and if a gift was to big to wrap then it got a big bow.

Santa wraps all his gifts in Santa paper .. the ones that are awkward to wrap are put under the tree with a tag that says from Santa.

And my kids have asked about the handwriting thing and I told them I help Santa by writing out the tags

Santa doesn't wrap gifts in our house. There's nothing as great as being woken up at 5 (if I'm lucky) by my son screaming "OH MY GOSH SANTA CAME! SANTA CAME!" and then hearing him run up the stairs to wake up his sisters. I love that.

When I was growing up, Santa wrapped our presents in the same wrapping paper as what my dad used. My grandma used to tell me it was because Santa spent so much time making toys that he didn't have time to get wrapping paper and he needed to use the wrapping paper we had at our house.

Santa does wrap gifts for our house too, in special paper. One year my MIL made the comment to my kids on Xmas morning why Santa wrapped our boys's presents but never wrapped her daughters....I shot her the evil eye! Santa presents have always had to be wrapped at our house cause until 3 years ago we always traveled for Christmas and had to make sure kiddos didnt see anything....since that's what the kids are/were use to there was no point in changing things.

Santa doesn't wrap here. He leaves his gifts under/near tree and stuffs the stockings.

When my three oldest kids were younger, they use to unwrap and rewrap to see what they got. SO, after that each kid was a random number every year and only I knew who was who LOL I'm back to names now that they are older.
