    7 yr old size 18?

My daughter got a child off the angel tree for Christmas and it says the child is 7 yrs old and wears a size 18. She called to see if that was right and they said yes. Do any of you know where you would buy clothes in a size 18 for a 7 yr old? Most stores carry up to a 14 or 16. Thanks for any help. Clothes and a Bratz doll is all that was on the list.

That is one large child. I would think maybe Fashion Bug or to order online Lane bryant. But I don't think their clothes are going to look like what a 7 year old would wear.

    I don't think they mean a WOMANS size 18.

There are childrens size 18's out there.....you just really have to look. Try Kids R Us, or Osh Kosh.

Or you could google "girls clothes size 18" and see what comes up.

I would not go with any bottoms though, as size 18 pants must be crazy long on her. Maybe you can find some capris on clearance? I have two friends who have girls with bigger bellys and they always buy capris since with the size they need, the capri length is like pants on them.

I've googled it a couple different ways and LandsEnd and Target keep popping up.

Here's a size chart from LandsEnd.........

If you're unsure....then I'd suggest buying a gift card to one of those stores.

ETA: Just checked Sears and they sell size 18 too. It's listed under Big Kids. So if Lands End and Sears sell it....then Kmart probably does too.

My daughters are both are bigger- one wears 14/16 and the other wears 16/18. It is so hard to find clothes that fit. I find them at jcp and sears- but it gets expensive. I dont have much luck with kmart. Thankfully the youngest(size 16/18) is starting to lose weight so maybe she'll go down in size.

I was gonna suggest Sears as well. They have some cute things there too. They can get a bit pricey, but they have good sales alot.
