Usually we put ours up the Saturday after Christmas.
The last couple of years, we did it mid-December because my elderly parents have kept me busy. Their tree goes up the day after Thanksgiving. With my mother's passing in August, Dad said he doesn't really feel like a tree this year. We'll see.

probably not putting up.
We don't really see the need. DS doesn't care if we have a tree.
We usually have DS's coat hanger tree he made in school; decorated with lights and garland.

Which one...LOL! I usually put up four trees (although this year I may have only 3.) The 10 ft. formal Victorian tree goes up the weekend after Thanksgiving. The other three go up as I have time. I put a 4-foot 'Santa' tree in the front bedroom (the only window facing the street.) A 4-foot 'Disney' tree goes upstairs. And the 7-foot family tree goes in the family room.
I kinda like Christmas...but no decorations until AFTER Thanksgiving.

I don't. We haven't put up a tree since 1992. I don't decorate either. And I'm happy with that. (nothing against Christmas or the reason for the season.)

We are spending Christmas in Palm Springs this year so not sure how much decorating I will do. That is of course if I stay healthy and my knee gets better after another surgery this next week!

In all honesty, I haven't put up a tree of my own in the last few years. Of course, since the split with my ex husband in 2007, the kids and I haven't exactly been alone in December, mostly staying with my parents. I'm thinking I might put one up around the first of December (depending on if we are still living here in this house) and I'll take it down around New Years.
