Do you have a hard time getting your teen...
to take a shower everyday w/ out reminding them? It seems like I have to twist their arm, threaten them or even yell at them to get them in there....Anyone else have that problem?

Yes!! I thought it was just mine, but he doesn't seem to notice that his hair needs washed and if I didn't tell him, it just wouldn't get done.

I have a girl, so my problem is getting her OUT of the shower. Ahh, the good old days, when I got a little hot water for my shower. *sniff*

when my youngest dot was about 11 or so, sometimes it got to the point I would have to literally drag her in there and put her in the shower... but the moment she became a teen, i didnt have to worry about it anymore... then the problem was getting her OUT of the shower... LOL

My girls are 10 and soon to be 13 and sometimes I have a problem. I have a feeling that is going to change soon with the oldest though .. lol. I know her issue is that she hates her hair curly and it takes a bit to straighten it .. lol.
When I do get them in there, I have a hard time getting them out. I think it's normal though for their age group .. they are so busy doing their thing that a shower is last on their list.

Yes, my 12 yr old DS would shower once a week if I would allow it. Every night I have to remind and remind and remind him to get in the shower. And don't even get me started on how bad his feet can smell even though he showers everyday. And I too dont know what all goes on in that shower but flooding out the floor is almost a nightly occurence. LOL Hopefully he will grow out of this phase.

My youngest daughter, who's 13, has hair that gets really curly when wet, and semi wavy when dry. The best thing we ever bought was a wet/dry hair straightener lol Saves lots of time since she can use it when her hair is damp.
As for my kids not getting in the shower, I've never had that issue and my kids are 14, 13, and 10 (almost 11)

Even my seven year old dd is a water hog, I have to make her get out of the tub. Boy does she get made because "she's not done" lol
