It's a favorite of mine too. I have the song on my pan flute CD and when my grandson was smaller and I rocked him to sleep in his lounge chair I would sing it to him. It's a good song with the long drawn out endings. Oooooooooh my luvvvvvvvvvvv. He would try to sing along and go ooooooohhhhh and aahhhhhhhhhhh. So cute.

I wonder what happened to those people shown in the video, especially that guy who looks so sad after reading a letter. Maybe it was from the Vietnam War. A really bad time.

This is one of the best vocal versions of this song...EVER!!! I never thought of it in context to the photos posted.
