ABC Distributing ~ Anyone buy from them? - Big Big Forums

Hey everyone, just curious if anyone has ever purchased from them? I always get the catalogs in the mail, but have never ordered. I found a few things I would like for Christmas gifts and was wondering if it takes a long time to receive the order? Just curious if I need to go ahead and buy now for Christmas or could I possibly delay for a few more wks and still get the order in time for Santa. Thanks for any info!

I haven't ordered from them in over a year but the last 2 times I did, it took several weeks to get my order.

It usually takes 2-3 weeks to get stuff from them. Shipping is way overpriced. If you can find similar items elsewhere, that would be where I'd shop.

I bought something recently on eBay and when I received it the return label was from ABC distributing. It only took about a week from the time I paid for the item and the time I received it. I'm guessing the seller was doing drop ship for ABC. If that was the case, 1 week wasn't that bad of a turn around time.

I thought about buying from them but I'm not so sure. The BBB has so many complaints (over 100 ) but they have a A+ rating.

I've bought several things from them and usually had them in three or four weeks. They have some really nice stuff that isn't really high either.

Thanks for all the feedback! Hmmm, not really sure what to do. Maybe I'll go ahead and give it a shot and see how that it goes this time around. When we moved we did Greta's room in a "Rock Star" Theme with black, lavender, hot pink, teal and jalepeno (yeah...I know! lol) I saw a comforter set that was so cute with pink skulls. I'm trying to be a bit more practical and get all my girls things they actually need for Christmas, with a few wants throw in as well. I'm gonna load up my cart and then check the shipping prices and see how it goes. Thanks again everyone!

I've ordered from them for ages. They merged with LTD a while back. You take your chances on items being on backorder though. Sometimes they ship stuff one item at a time (lots of s/h charges that way) or you can get your whole order in one big box (better). Ya never know.

my hubby ordered my daughter haley the "music notes" and they came in 2 weeks..I could not believe how fast. They are really nice! they are big and well made!

yep I have. I was pleased with what got for the price I paid. But some things were on back order and they took a long time. I'd say if you decide to order, do it sooner than later.
