awww...hugs to all of you. I'm so sorry.
I am very lucky to have both of my parents..and I cannot even imagine.
I know I call my mom 2 or 3 times a day...AND I want to tell her everything....and i really need her here and my dad too.
I just wanted to let all of you know..I'm really sorry. Your postings really touched my heart. : (

Thank you all for sharing this... my 16 yr. old DD lost her dad in April, and tells me this quite often, it may be reassuring to her to know that she is not alone.

My Dad passed away 5 yr ago. I was always very close to my Dad and would call him at least every other day after I moved out of my parents house. There are still so many times when I have a question or problem and feel like I need to just call my Dad and it will be all okay. And even when I call my Mom, sometimes I expect to hear his voice answer the phone!

My mom has been gone 13 years. I still call her old phone # every New Years eve at midnight and wish the people who now have it a Happy New Years. They expect me to call now. It just makes me feel better somehow.

yes i find myself wanting to talk to my daddy alot,i was a daddy's girl,he knew everything.,he's been gone 18 years,and i still miss him,and find myself wanting to call him

There are so many questions I want to ask my grandfather now that I am older. I was 10 when he died. I get really depressed when I am like "Oh grampa would know this" and then realize I cannot ask him..

I think about talking to my mom or my grandmother just about everyday. My mom has been gone 5 years and my grandma 4 years.

I do that with my grandma. She raised me so she was my "mom". There have been so many times in the last 11 years that I have picked up the phone to call her or seen something that I just knew she would love only to remember that she isn't here anymore. When I'm missing her really bad, I think she sends me little "messages" just to let me know she's still here. Atleast thinking that makes me feel better.
