I'm on my feet a lot and wear Dansko's or Naturalizers. Wearing good support socks or stockings really help if you're on your feet for long periods of time. I learned to do that back in nursing school and it really does make a difference.

From 6 am till about 430 pm the only time I am sitting is during lunch,if I am lucky LOL. I love my Dansko Professional "clogs."Speedy is right on,good shoes and good support socks/stockings will save your feet,back and legs.

I buy shoes for crews online .. you can also buy them on ebay. I got a brand new pair with shipping for $16 and they run $55 from them.
Redwings are really good too, but they are expensive .. worth it though cause they last and are comfortable. I had a pair last for 4 years and I paid $100 for them.

I wear Ecko shoes. They are pricey but are very comfortable and last forever. Plus...they look stylish too!!!

I got a pair of Sketcher's non slip shoes last week at Famous Footwear. They're comfortable but after standing for 8 hours straight with no break, any shoes hurt.

Not my Shoes for Crews, or my Redwings that I had .. 9-10 hour shift and my feet are fine.

I'm on my feet a lot during December (small business, long hours) and without question, good stocking with support will help reduce leg fatigue. I stock up on L'eggs Sheer Energy
