Ok, my question is this: Someone passes and you order one from Walmart online. Right? How long does it take before you receive it?? some things take a week or two to get. Who wants to hold the funeral, until the casket arrives??

Sears used to sell them way back when also. We have a catalog from 1908 and it has everything you could possibly need in it.

I would suppose you would need to put it in a storage unit until it was needed. Maybe in the basement is you have the room. That would be creepy to me but some people would sleep in it since it doesn't bother them.
Sam Walton always did want to be one step ahead of the rest. Walmart got prescriptions down to 4 dollars. Let's hope they can do that to other consumer goods. Sears use to sell insurance, maybe Walmart could start doing that if the government doesn't put mega regs on it.

walmart wasn't the first with $4 prescriptions, giant eagle (a grociery store here) did it before them, and now giant eagle gives free antibiotics with prescription

walmart also sells realty, so I guess it truly is a one stop shopping place if you're needing that stuff.

walmart also sells just about everything in their store made in china, so that equals little girls (12 or so) making about 15cents an hour to produce almost all of the crap walmart sells.
i try to avoid them whenever i can... i also try to look for "made in america" whenever i can

Sams has been selling them for years... same store...
Many years ago we had one friend buy another friend one for Christmas... and yes, he did sleep in it... they were both very strange ppl... but surprisingly it didn't bother me to be around it... I guess cause I knew a dead body had never occupied it.

I just wanted to also say... cause I wouldn't want my casket made in china either... that most of them claim to be made in the USA... which stunned me. BTW, I avoid them at all costs too.
