what is everyone up to this weekend??

It was a beautiful day here today, warm, light breeze. We went into town and went to wolly world, grocery store and mc'y D's. Came home and went out in the yard and played. Now both my DD's are going to stay the night somewhere, one with a friend, the other grandma. Now if I only had a sitter for the little one LOL....... I could sure use a cold one !!

oh, and tomorrow, a roast in the pot with a new recipe, calls for ranch and italian dressing...... and a blueberry pie for dessert.
Nothin' much at all, kinda boring.

Catching up on paperwork. I hate paperwork.

Not too much last night. Today, we took my son's RC cars to an indoor track. A grandfather was there with his grandson just to see what it all looks like. The racing RC cars like my son has are pricey, so no one really lends theirs out. Anyway, when things slowed down, we offered to the grandfather to let his grandson try ours, and it was so awesome. The guy was so touched, that he was almost in tears. He knew his grandson was so wanting to try, but they don't rent them. So, it was cool. The kid was actually really good at it, and the grandfather was so proud of him. It felt so good and I am so glad to have met them.

Tomorrow we are seeing my step daughter at college, and I have not seen her in way too long so I am excited about that.

Oh, and I am currently involved in a very serious science/environmental experiment. DH cooked steak last night and left the stove a greasy nightmare mess. Today, the kitchen remains spotless, but for the stove. So, my experiment entails me seeing if he cleans it off before my head pops off!

This my be my last post...
We had us, we had him, now we have everything.

I'm not doing too much. My son is sick so I'm at home with him worrying constantly. My oldest daughter went to the pumpkin patch (the one that's on big world little people or whatever that show is called?) and then is going to wild waves' haunted house thing. She'll be back tomorrow. My youngest daughter is just hanging out with friends and trying to convince the new puppy that it's not okay to chew on her shoes lol

Yesterday I did yard work and went to some garage/estate sales. Found a few items. Today we WERE watching the Bears game (but they are doing so horrible that I stopped watching and came here LOL) and then off to dinner at Joe's uncles house later tonight.
    Keep your chin up!

Yesterday, I took my kids to Jump Zone. (I love their buy one, get one free admission coupons!) Today, a friend and I took them to the playground for a few hours. We came home and rode bikes and walked the dogs. Right now, I'm cooking dinner and folding laundry before bath time and cookie baking

We just vegged out and played video games and I've done an astronomical amount of laundry. Baked some banana bread pudding (not impressed) and getting ready to make some lemon bars. Just homey stuff
