Wow! Poor Holli is suddenly Ms Popularity and I think its freaking her out. Another girl that was nominated texted her today and asked if they could still be friends because they are both nominated. Holli was stunned. She had no idea that she would be nominated and didn't plan on going before she was nominated and now she has acquaintances wanting to be buddies.
No dresses at the rummage sale, that was a real disappointment all the way around. Although I did find Holli a pair of silver-ish strappy low heels with a cool heel as an alternative in case the dress we find isn't black or won't look good with black shoes. I checked the Goodwill again because someone on my FreeCycle group said she saw some great dresses there last week, but since homecoming around here is next weekend there was nothing suitable there. Although if she suddenly gets married (Goddess forbid!!!) I so got that covered

Here's one that might be a little better, that black long sleeve thing was a jacket because at 16 she was trippy about the spaghetti straps.

Is it possible for her to just wear that dress again without the jacket, it would look a little different or a different jacket with it? I know girls like to have new ones, but maybe as a last resort.

It was a borrowed dress and the girl she borrowed it from moved away. Otherwise she would gladly I'm sure
She really doesn't care if its new, used or borrowed, she's a pretty great kid and not a typical teen that wants everything new and now We jsut need a dress for her to wear since she didn't intend to go until she was nominated, and we're just not drressy dress people

Yeah, these guys are all awesome, they've been there with me through some really intense times.
I'm fortunate enough to know how to do nails, nothing professional, but she won't go looking like she forgot something I'll do her finger and toe nails Friday night.

Give me about 15 minutes until my hair color is done. I don't want to go digging around formal dresses with color in my hair.
I am not sure whether or not I still have the dress that is similar but if not I probably have several that are hers to keep. I believe the ones I have are from Forever 21 & are a small size.

Ok I found 6 possibilities only the batteries in my camera are dead. Will get batteries tomorrow & post tomorrow night.
